Yahoo fire eagle is the geolocation project from yahoo inc. You get to use the location specific status on your phone. You can use that in any application and also can send that as a status to your friends. I talso shows in your yahoo messenger or any similr other messenger. I have seen this in test on android phone and i am sure it works fine with other phones as well. Not sure about iphoen though so have to chekc that out.

I never know about this Yahoo Fire Eagle here, and this is the first time for me here to take a look about this program here. It is very nice and fancy here. But, I do not really know what the purpose of this feature. I think, this one here is only for fun, because the homepage here is so fancy

Well i am yet to be aware of all the detailed story along with this application that you proposed here,i have not yet known the heard of the application of recent or used it.What exactly does it apply to our use? And how is it been in use? I think i will have to go on the link beliow and then see what we have there.

That's a great invention by yahoo, cos that would also help to connect people and to tell where an individual is at a particular point in time, i love this feature, but is it available in smartphone?

its great to know about this feature of the yahoo, you has been doing really good. Google gives the strong competition to the yahoo its may be the main reason that yahoo have been more active in inventing the new things in the web. But i want to know how it will run and is if for us too.

Well this feature trully is great but one thing they failed to tell us is if this feature is globally supported or limited to only some few countries as usual, yahoo are always fund of limiting their delicate and interesting services to only few countries, is'nt this racism?

Well this is quiye good feature here and i guess this will be so much good for our use,i don't really know about this one quite alright but i think this will be omne of yahoo innovations that people are so much given into and then they are always on them.I really like to explore on this on here to gain more knowledge about the feature of yahoo.

It is not a tracking application. it is like facebook and google offering these days. ability to tag yourself on the map so that people can see where you are. i think that is surely a good feature. most of the time this feature is one good thing that we have found. if you consider using this on the mobile app this could be helpful.

I will try this on my android and i will see how it works because i am not familiar with this feature of yahoo and how it actually works but based on your definition it seems that this feature of yahoo can help us in some ways it may be very useful in some purpose.

@Paradose,i think you will have to go for some researches on that so that uou can be perfect while posting in the thread and here is a hint,its a tracking program that yahoo has introduced into their site and its really good t have that in yahoo for some safety purposre too.

@Blappy,i have as well tried the feature of the yahoo and its really cool,its really like a map but its for tracking purpose that yahoo had made the feature and its really having a good look the way it is and i really appreciate the yahoo group for the wonderful innovations that had for us in this one.
