Google Translate: Really helpful

Haha mate your post made me somehow laugh. Well your right in the sense that you posted the same as on my insight is. Well google translate is a friend to be trusted when it comes to translation and grammar checking. Well i did my report on google translate because google translate does my gramar correct. And to the thing that my worse enemy. Spelling. Haha.

Yeah some people use google translator to correct their spellings. You know when you are not a native english speaker that you are bound to have problems along the way when learning english language. Google translator helps you in this aspect.

I suppose you could also use it to learn a new language although I never tried that. It can be really annoying when your search returns only a few results and the most relevant seems to be in a foreign language. This is no more a headache in this case since it takes some seconds to translate the text.

Oh yea, google translate has realy been helpfull to whole of internet in general, knowing that the world is becoming a global village by the day without google translate it would be difficult for people to get to understand what others are saying, take for instance china & England, chinese vs English

It can be used to learn a new language but i guess you are not going to trust google translate to give you exactly what you want. For example the rules of the new language you are trying to learn maybe different from the previous language that you are trying to relate with the new language.

Yeah mine is the opposite of yours. I dont, and cannot read or write in chinese but with the sole help of google translator i just convert a chinese document or a chinese website into english and then read it like any english document or website. And never forgets the fun.

Google Translater cannot be a 100 percent correct at all times and that is to be expected. What is important is that when you are reading a website you are able to understand the topic and what is being talked about there. This has been useful for me in forums and when i needed help so I could understand the tutorial.

Infact we should remove the word perfect when describing google translator but one thing i know and most people know, is that google translator has been hopeful all the times we use it. The translations are moderate for an average person to understand the conversation going on.

That is quite correct because at the end of the day you are able to understand the translated text and that is all that matters. Yes, perfection is a word we should really avoid here but in the end Google translate really does a good job of translating from different languages to english.

The essence of communication is to understand what the person at the other end is saying and with the service from google you are able to understand what the person at the other end is saying even if the person is speaking in odd language. Google translator bridge the gap.

I can understand the frustration of finding some information that you believe may be useful to your cause but you find that you are unable to comprehend or make sense of it. It really is making life a lot easier when it comes to understanding content that is written in a foreign language.

You do not get what i meant. I mean, if i have been looking for a website to download a software and couldnt find it on any english website and if there was a russian website that appeared in the page of google search i used in searching for the file. I will simply copy the url of the page and post it in google translator.

I often used Google translate because I have friends from different countries.. It is really a great help for me since I can understand other countries language and able to learn as well.

Google Translation is not useful at all. Some of the translations provided are really rubbish, don't even make sense at all. It is better not to over-rely too much on this function.
