Paypal Verification.

Though i don't use Paypal at point,but i've been hearing most people talking about VCC(Virtual Credit Card) and some other cards that you can use for account Verifications;but what if your country is not accepted,Can you still Verify using the VCC or anyother Card?

If your country is not accepted by paypal and you can't even signup on their system then surely you can't use VCC to verify paypal account because you don't even have an account, if you plan to singup using proxies don't even try it and your account will be disabled.

I think Virtual Credit Card is accepted in all counties. It is an alternative if your bank does not issue a visa card. I have many Indian friends and mostly of them use Virtual Credit Cards. I just wonder if Paypal fully accepted VCC.

I do not know if there are countries that are not accepted by paypal. if your country is not accepted by paypal I think you can not do anything to with it. if I suggest, you better use another payment method possible. but if you're still dead-set is no way to verify without vcc, you can use a credit card. and for some countries you can even use your local bank account.

Yea it's true that paypal does restrict many countries from having access to their services for reasons unknown to me cos they never give reasons for their actions, but i do hear people uses either a legitimate debit or credit card to verify their account.

there is an existing thread here that they do accept verification using virtual credit card but they are not officially announcing it for the reason that they want their members to go to legit ways of verifying their account to establish their true identity

ANother option to use paypal is not to get verified at all. Just use it for bank transfer. you don't need paypal for shopping if you have vcc or cc or debit card. you can use vcc for shopping. there is no need for paypal at all other than withdrawal to the bank or say via check that is my experience so far.

I believe vcc cards are for countries that does not support credit cards, you know, not all countries have vcc cards, so it depends, if your country does'nt support vcc card then credit card would do while if it is the otherwise then vcc card would do it..

joseph123, absolutely that is the fact. those countries that do not support credit card, make use of VCC card. but my country do use or support both VCC card and credit card. so my country is one special.

In THailand it is very easy to verify and very few people in Thailand use fake VCC number because just they have bank account in major bank in THailand and had ATM card they will get VISA number from debit card too.Verifying paypal account in Thailand is very easy.

It is very hard to verify paypal in Nepal. Paypal can be verified in other countries but it is hard to verify in Nepal. People can verify if people have credit card. People can also verify it through the bank account also. But in Nepal very few people have credit card and i have also heard that it is hard to verify on paypal if people have credit card also.

I don't suggesst indian members to get any verification anymore because most of the time it is not needed. I think it is better to consider that money is going directly into the bank so there seems to be no reason for using for the input as there is no storage for the indian user. so verification is hardly needed.

@sunwake- its hard because most of the banks will not accepts the PayPal money. We can verify the PayPal accounts in other countries by the virtual credit cards and also from the bank. In Nepal there are very few banks with accepts the Alert Pay only.

Paypal is not supported in my country and i see so many people using paypal for there online payments,they make use of proxies,they traveled to neighbouring country where paypal is accepted and get there VCC,it works but i will never use paypal,i am cool with LR

hello, what is the extent of paypal verification? anyway, i see no reason of verifying my paypal account because that was how those hackers deceived me in my libertyreserve account and get rid of my $40. so am out of this

good for our indian friends but not for filipino users we have to undergo full verification before we can transfer our money to our bank or credit card i hope paypal would implement this features to all users so we don't have to verify our account using vcc or cc

you do have a benefit that you can have the money storage feature because indian users don;t have that feature anymmore. so they are only using the paypal for the bank transfer when they get money in the system. that is all i can think of when it comes to paypal and the shopping or the acceptance of the money.
