True friendship on Facebook ?

Hello,

For some this might sound crazy, others might totally agree it's possible. Can you really become friends online ?
Let's take the following scenario:
You're on Facebook and you get to chatting with someone. You notice that you have a lot in common and get along great. You keep chatting, sharing more and more.
At one point can you consider that person to be your friend even though it's an online friendship ?

I don't know if i can call it true i usually said to myself that i shouldn't trust people easily but i just always trust people. I make friends with facebook i chat with them but sometimes i don't reply them i only reply to those people that i'm interested to know but if not i just ignore not totally ignore uf they say hi... then i will say hello.. then end of conversation.

I believe that is possible. There are people that we can meet online and they become our true friend. I meet some people online and they are my friends now. I mean real friends. When you both have common denominator i guess you would click and be intouch with each other more.

Yes very little. Some are fake and they have motive why they are chatting with you. We are the ones who should be wise and careful in everything we do. We can't see them and we are not aware of what they are really thinking towards us.

We can notice if they are sincere to their friendship or not. Base on what they are saying or posting. It is really hard to trust anyone, but some are true and i already proved that to myself. Actually i'm thankful that i have met them.

don't know, because all of my friends in my face book are my real friends in person. but i also believe that it is possible, but, not as strong as friend in real. in person you can identify who's true and fake. what more in face book? its hard to trust some one whom you just know in chatting.

It's not that strong may be a friend in cyber world but not in real life also if you meet in offline then your friendship may go deeper cos we can't trust people easily especially when we don't see them at all but that's impossible to find a real friends in facebook.

I have got to know you can get real friends through Online friendship.There are some friends i met at a page on FB that i have never regreted knowing or meeting.we chat regularly and help each other out one way or the other.To be frank true friendship could be started online.

Well, I really don't know if that could be considered as a true friendship, online. I think it can be considered if both of you knows each other personally but not too much familiar with each other then you chat on Facebook and both of you feel comfortable with each other. It is possible to make new true friends on Facebook but be careful on choosing whom to trust.

I had friends who I met online and never see them yet. I never tried adding stranger in my Facebook account that's why I havent experienced making friends from people I met there. Absvlutely yes. as long as both you are really honest with each other. true friendship is built on honesty and it all depends on how you both communicate online. it cannot end here though because the test of a real friendship is judged by how it survives in real life situations.

Well we do have true friends in terms of online friends and can do what so ever that seems fun in facebook such as updating status and replying to them and as well as tagging our selfs in our photo so it is really cool having true friend ship in facebook.

sometimes people who are difacebook was a fraud and a fake, even in part of people using false identities to gain profits and deceive many people. so should be cautious in accepting the friendship there
