How does yahoo helps you in everyday living?

I agree, Yahoo news and really superb on sending such information on what's happening on some places, sports, weather and other current events, I don't often watch tv so it's a big help for me to make me aware, and it happens every time I opened my Yahoo account.

Yahoo news are really great on delivering news updates, even sports and current
events, and weather as well. It's a big help for me because I don't have time to watch on television when I'm already in front of my computer, glad it's on it's homepage so I became aware every time I log on to my account.

@yourdestiny - actually i do not just rely now on yahoo news solely if I have already seen the news on the television. If ever I woke up early and was able to open yahoo i will really check on the news then after that I will not have interest on local television news so i just watch it for some shows that I like.

@jojonarte, it only means we have our difference on our daily routine, it's nice to
hear that you still have time to watch on television, but in my case, hmm, well there is, but I just prefer to do the things which has high priority to me, and it involves Google on all the stuffs that I do, searching internet by its web search engine, find some images that will fit in my clients needs on their slide show, and e-mail them using Gmail stating that I'm done editing their picutres. That's how Google helps me.

Yahoo is very useful in my daily routine because I can get to check updated news everyday, reading some popular front articles or you can get to know what's happening to the world today, and I also use yahoo for searching some answers I can't find, it's a big help for me.

Yeah right, that's what also I notice on most of the comments regarding to Yahoo news and it really helps them when it talks about what's happening. But it's just one of the helpful features of Yahoo for me, because there's still a YM and and e-mail which is good too.

Indeed! That's one of the noticeable helpful of Yahoo on the users life, bringing fresh news on the net when you don't have time to watch it on television. But it's just one of the reason why Yahoo can help us on each day of our life. Even the other applications and features of it are useful such as e-mail account mostly its Yahoo messenger.

the only thing that helps me by Yahoo is their email. As of now. Yahoo mail is my main email, so far for studies and other online activities. I used it for different things and it works for me, making me stay in it for years now.

@anylopectina - Yes actually their yahoo mail is the best feature that was more commonly used by anyone even kids because it is really handy on any online ventures. I used it for my studies to same as you it is useful in receiving assignments and projects and also passing them.

i get my every day entertainment on yahoo. i love yahoo music and yahoo entertainment news(OMG). before i go to youtube, i search first on Launch. i love those sites.

I am also big fan of yahoo musics, and mostly answers. I can search any questions and instantly get the answers I want. This is very cool feature in yahoo. Besides yahoo answer, I like instant messaging and video chatting too.

Yahoo answers is also useful beside their yahoo email feature. Yahoo answers have somehow helped me when I fixed my computer without yahoo answer's help I will not be able to revive my PC back to its good state.

Yahoo helps me very well especially when i want someone to talk to, i just open my yahoo messenger and then chat with my friends, i also sometimes ask for some yahoo answers out there, i also use geocities (but i think it's not available anymore) yahoo groups also help me a lot in my college days.

Few years back I was addicted to to yahoo .Their mail service is one of the bets .They used to provide good news gossips on their homepage which I used to read every day . But now I stopped using yahoo because I felt google is much simple and easy to use .

However popular Google may be there are still millions out online using Yahoo services too, whether it is the Yahoo mail, Yahoo answers or the messenger. We can't say that Yahoo's rank is comparatively lesser than Google , Yahoo is trying to give equal competition to Google. What I wish is if yahoo also comes up with new ideas like Google it would certainly increase its reputation more online.
