Does moneybookers have chargebacks
The Leading online payment processors have chargebacks that are designed to protect the buyer from fraud. After reading on moneybookers policy I fail to understand how theirs work. Any one care to enlighten me.
“Do I have to fear charge backs?
Skrill (Moneybookers) performs its own risk management. We do not pass on charge backs to the merchant but absorb them ourselves. There are no holdbacks from Merchants on payments originating from credit cards. We reserve, however, the right to withdraw this policy without notice for any particular merchant who we determine is not exercising due diligence or is operating in a way which results in higher than normal exposure.”
Does this actually mean that they will pay for it themselves?

Re: Does moneybookers have chargebacks
I don't think so. I think they will just simply withdraw the policy without notice. lols. First question. do they allow creditcard payments with charge back? I think the reason they offer this is that their account is straight purchase. that means once you send funds via creditcard you can't file charge back.

Re: Does moneybookers have chargebacks
To be blunt yes they do have the chargeback or dispute options. I have seen many sellers having issues with that just like paypal. Most of the time they do this to irritate the users and sellers. i mean some users buy stuff and run away so surely this affects the sales and the dispute makes them get money in return as well. so mostly this is just annoying feature.

Re: Does moneybookers have chargebacks
There are many things i also want to know about Money Bookers as everything is new for me here. But as far as i know, their policy is good and it seems our account is protected well enough which is of more important here. They might have some strict rules and regulations which we have to follow, but it is good for us as to hold the account in good condition

Re: Does moneybookers have chargebacks
Well to me they collect charge back cause if they don't do i can say there wouldn't be a source for them to be managing there program cause they can't be struggling for the managing charges them self.

Re: Does moneybookers have chargebacks
In that case bulastika, there will be more sellers on MB but that is not the case. The reason they use paypal is because MB is costly for both seller and buyer and for that reason there are less chargeback due to overall amount of transaction. But it is good that they have that feature atleast.

Re: Does moneybookers have chargebacks
That's one of the factor. The other factor is that since MB is U.K. base and while most of hte popular shopping site are base on U.S. that's why many use paypal simply because paypal is base on U.S. also.
Other thing is that MB is not really build for shopping online. its build for casino and sports betting. A favorite pass times in U.K. and europe is soccer match sports betting. That's why MB is popular in here.

Re: Does moneybookers have chargebacks
Yes. Skrill or MB is UK Based so obvious that they are having more europe visitors and shoppers. That is one reason I find that Skrill should be replaced with paypal because it is more costly. I do think that they should use the rate as per country and then decide on the fees but that is not the case.

Re: Does moneybookers have chargebacks
Sometimes chargebacks are based on the products. I have seen that the hosting products usually have no chargebacks and that is why i lost money on the payza in case of one of the hosting. I am not so sure about the moneybookers case because very few to none use it for the hosting which is also obvious why it is so.

Re: Does moneybookers have chargebacks
Yup they have charge back cause i have never see a payment pocessor that has no charge back cause that is the only way they get their own fee to manage the service.although i haven't make use of the service cause my country is not accept.
