Re: Facebook is Hackable
I think more complicated and long password is going to help most of the people. If you're using the password from lastpass generator then that is secure enough. It is long and is more crypted. So with facebook it is better to use lastpass in my opinion. You'll be able to do much better with lastpass in terms of password saving and other stuff. That aside, like any other network facebook too is hackable. Just watch out while clicking on links.

Re: Facebook is Hackable
@ryuken i do agree with you about the long and more complicated password but i used that and when i lost the password i wasn't able anymore to login and my email i used i also can't remeber the password so i paid a guy in my country who then hacked it under 24 hours inspite of the long password.

Re: Facebook is Hackable
Hmm, in terms of hacking i think facebook is one of the easier program that is hacked in the net, some hackers do design facebook page and truly is easier to design and when some one opens that page and type in his email and password inoder to log in, when he press the login key, the page will disappear and hackers will take control of your password and can delete everything you have build for years. Mostly girls expereince this hackers because the have alot of freinds and the envy ones wishes to hack their account.

Re: Facebook is Hackable
Yeah thats right facebook is one of the social networking site that hackers do
use in testing their hacking ability and i do think that facebook staff have to do something about it because it really brings their reputation down and that is really bad of them.

Re: Facebook is Hackable
Facebook is hackable this days but i have been asking myself that what is going to be hacked in that facebook because i do not see anything interesting about facebook. What do you think someone will hack when you talk of hacking facebook because facebook is not even a website like liberty reserve or any other sorts of online payment processors. Because if it is so, then know that it is really worth hacking.

Re: Facebook is Hackable
That seems to be creepy. Reminds me what i have to do now to use the better passwords. I guess you can use lastpass on firefox and opera or chrome to remember passwords ? lastpass is per user session software and remembers the password without getting hacked. That worked for me so far, check if you can do that.

Re: Facebook is Hackable
If ever facebook will be hacked, its for a single purpose; Information. As we all know, people store information about themselves on that site including self-images and such. And in facebook's current state, Yes it is prone to hacking. but if you'd try to look at the bright side, you wont lose anything
Lately Facebook's been infiltrated by viruses and stuff, well were talking about trolls who wish to piss facebook users online. kinda lame but, it was quite easy for them to do so. I've been thinking, What else could they do with facebook?

Re: Facebook is Hackable
My friend adviced me to everytime you log in at Facebook, in order to protect your account, change it everytime you log in. Well, it seems if we changed it everytime we log in, is there any problem with Facebook regarding changing your password every time we log in? Is there any problem like they will become suspicious with us?

Re: Facebook is Hackable
I don't see much neccessity in changing passwords every given time you Log into your facebook account and i believe that will even give more space for hackers to have their way into our accounts,in the sense that if they-i mean the hackers Likewise notice the to many change of passwords on our facebook account, they might claim to be one of facebook staffs and then send us Links that our account is having some password problems and you can't login if don't fill so and so Form;by then you must have given your account details to them and with that they can for ones do whatever they wish with account in question. That's my Opinion.

Re: Facebook is Hackable
well for me facebook is quite hack-able if the owner is too careless with his/her account, information about him will be a feast if he or she is a business person so for me i use also two accounts one for personal and one for business. i only log at home so i think i'm secured here and also phising is the only thing that i could get hacked (IF i'm careless

Re: Facebook is Hackable
There isn't any doubt about this topic because everyone already knows that facebook is hackerable and very easy if you are a hack but why it isn't that well popular is that facebook isn't like a site that do involve with members money, its just a social networking site.

Re: Facebook is Hackable
OH! good point there mr.lee, having two separate accounts is quite good. providing limited personal details on your business account can help provide security. not to mention phishing sites around the net targeting not only networking accounts but also accounts related to money matters.

Re: Facebook is Hackable
I don't think that would be enough. Do you remember back when you register your facebook account? You gave out a lot of private information. Now if Facebook's server were to be hacked, we are screwed.
