what about sunday and friday trading ?
well we have already know that the market opens in sunday night and close friday night ,what i am saying here is about risk of trading in such days .
some people says to me if you want to lose your money trade in friday ,thats may be true and may be not . if that is true no one can earn big amount in this day .
now i am trying to say in friday try to follow the trend if it is upward then you buy and vice verse ,thats for friday but not trade with big lot ,be in the safe side .

Re: what about sunday and friday trading ?
It is better to stay away or do no trading on every Friday. Because we can not see and can not know the gap opened later. Many people is always giving that advice, and better to follow this. Better to close the open trade before the weekend.
For Sunday night, or Monday, it is fine to stat doing the trade again.

Re: what about sunday and friday trading ?
I also subscribe to the point that trading on Sundays, Mondays and Fridays should be avoid especially if the trader is not abreast with the prevailing fundamentals. Most often then not, the market closes on Fridays in overbought or oversold conditions and when they open on Sunday, it is seen many times retracing with a leap and those unfortunate to leave some positions open going by the trend on close of market on Fridays ends up with losses!

It is not a fact that you lose on fridays in forex trading. You can even lose your whole account on tuesday or wednesday. The thing that makes profits is the analysis that you make in forex trading.

Re: what about sunday and friday trading ?
this is just a speculation that you will lose your money on Friday.I don't agree with it.If you lose money, or you earn money, all is the result of your trading skills and experience.Though, it is true that market becomes so much liquidated on Friday because, there are so much news released from so many countries on this day, as this is the last day of week. But, if you follow up the market and can pick up the effect of news in a right way, so you an make your money double too on Friday.

Re: what about sunday and friday trading ?
Usually, there have lot of news with high impact is released on Friday so the market act a bit violate and it's not actually good market condition for many traders but still, few still able to make profit without problem, just need to follow your trading strategy strictly and never forget to you SL

Re: what about sunday and friday trading ?
I think the opposite that it's hard to predict the market movement on Friday. Anything can happen in the market and we all know that but on Friday it's even harder to deal with news. If you check statement of news traders at Forex site I think you will notice that traders open take big loss on Friday news

Re: what about sunday and friday trading ?
Only those traders will have faced losses on Friday news, who have traded with the USA news.otherwise, if a trader trades with the news of other countries, so they must have earned some big profits.Since the economic situation of USA is not getting better, so the news is not giving the accurate result. In case of USA news, if we wait for around 30 minutes and then enter the market, so it will be so much good and safer for us..

Re: what about sunday and friday trading ?
Friday is the last working day of the week so most traders prefer not to trade on that day, they can take a day off sooner and spent time for other thing rather then trade on hard to predicable market with high impact news. When I trade on Friday I used extremely small lot and prefer take 15 or 20 pips only. Better safe than sorry.

Re: what about sunday and friday trading ?
That is good to hear and seem like thing work good at your side since you always get what you planed. I always trade carefully and close all deals before going to sleep or block my profit for certain number of pips in case the market retrace while I sleep. I think it's safer.

Re: what about sunday and friday trading ?
Definitely safer hoanglong. But there are times when your day couldn't start any better when you wake up to see some 30 pips gain greeting you. This does not seclude the fact that it could be the other way around, but really put a TP of that much and putting a SL of say 10 pips before going to bed is not a bad idea.

Re: what about sunday and friday trading ?
I think the argument of this thread is being misquoted, what the starter is looking at is the effect of having open positions at the close of market on Friday, when the market opens again on Sunday! And to that it is safer to close all positions before close of market on Friday, take for instance the leap in the price of EUR/USD between close on Friday 9/9/11 and open Sunday 11/9/11 and one can advice oneself better!

Re: what about sunday and friday trading ?
I do not even leave my positions open before i go to bed except for good reason, and when i do the position is rigidly enhanced with a small SL. Leaving a position open between the close on friday and open on sunday, only works if you have done a pretty good analysis and managed to take the right orders, it gives good pips, but otherwise, it just eats pips that give you a stare.

Re: what about sunday and friday trading ?
Yes if the market opens inline with our open positions on Sundays, the profit is always fabulous, but so also is the losses when it does occur! My general impression is that markets ends at extreme positions on Fridays and they open on Sundays with the aim of normalizing the market!

Re: what about sunday and friday trading ?
No.When the market opens on Sunday, so they follow the trend of previous days, unless there is not a different and sudden news or event in Forex world..On last Friday, market closed with great selling of Euro, and when the markets opened today on Monday, so the Euro was still under pressure and it went more down against all big rivals..

Re: what about sunday and friday trading ?
If your broker closing before the market close in Friday night then there will have a gap after broker open for trading in Sunday night, that usually happen and if the gap is big then you can make good profit with it if you know how to trade with gap. Usually, the market will fill down the gap before continue with the trend.
