Google as a social networking site

Google social networking site Google plus is awesome with lots of feature in it. I also use this networking site rather than Facebook.

I think google is the best search engine. Google as social site is just a different thing to accept. Since google have different social networking site in its own like plus google, Orkut etc. So for me google is best in itself and lets not compare search engine with facebook which is a social networking site.

Google has a social networking website that is emerging and will soon hit up many places but that is not a threat to facebook or either is it a threat to twitter because google plus has many features that are intertwined with what is obtainable in the afforementioned social networking websites.

I do not think that google has much aspect in ebing a good social networking site.because the online market is already being covered by social networking sites and among that as well 60% of the market share is of facebook and it has dominated so there must be some uniqueness in google to top that.

Though google + is still not known to some people i still find it as one that has the potential of becoming known by many people in the future. I remember when gmail was first launched, i was one of the people that was against the idea because i thought that google venturing into providing email services is not cool but right now gmail rocks.

from what i see now google + still up and up, but still they cannot defeated the popularity of twitter and facebook, even they must stand again facebook itself they cannot, but the idea is not wrong, the only wrong thing is the concept they have there, from what i see some feature already exist in fb or twitter

google is best at what it was doing for the past several years. and so does facebook. each of them with its own field in internet networking. interlaping activities will fail in my opinion. google will never be better than facebook as a social networking site, and nothing will be a better search engine than google anytime in the near future.

Well said bro. Both are good and the other trying to shift to the others line/side isnt a big deal. Lets just allow google to do what the think is worth doing. If google doesnt work then they should try to concentrate in improving in other aspects that they have decided to engage their expertise when on.

Well google has been the top most site in in the internet world and they are able to do what ever that is in their reach as a very site that has so many things to offer,and they are ready to bring up more things for our internet use.So if they can be able to stand the test of time before and by pass the one social networking site that we already have at hand.

for now google + still cannot beat twitter and facebook, it will be better if they come up with a good thing that make people more easier to use them and also make people comfortable with them, for now they still have some time to make it, but it is not easy as FB and twitter do some innovation, but google with all their sources could be one of the big social network.

As for gogle they are trying their best in every part of the internet businesses and they are very good at introducing new products as the case maybe,but they are not taking into what they will be uniquely be recognised that will be more different from the other,Like now when talking about facebook and twitter,you can't see any competitive feature between them both.

i am little confused with yours, but it seems that google will fight also in this wars, it seems that facebook and twitter come up with new thing so, it means their google + must be doing something great for now, and google as social network for now is enough for me, not bad and not good too, i think they need some improvement

to my understanding, google is not a social networking site, but you can only send a mail through google by have e-mail account with them.

Google is not a social network but a connection of different things interconnected with one thing and that is google. Google represents many things to different people. To the smart phoe peeps google represents an operating system. To the person who goes online each day, google represents a search engine and so many other different things obtainable online.

can you read the first post in this thread?, it said if google become social network?, actually if they are truly become social network people could be easily to search their relatives and many thing, but i am not sure about how accurate that thing, and also we can use our profile page to earn from google adsense they have, and everytime we created account it means we created youtube account, gmail account, and many thing they have instantly

It will be nice to have another social networking like google to introduce their social networking for our use.Well starting with google+ as they have introduce the social networking site,and i think its not quite good to my use.i think it will be something nice to have a social networking site if they will keep it good going.

From the on set of things google didnt advertise google as the supposed to. Google plus is google's own social network and it is not so popular among the average online individuals. The normal social network that is always on mind of people is facebook and some times twitter for the advanced people.

What can you say, if google becomes a social networking site and the reason for the lose of facebook. Would it be great or you just want to stick with facebook? what can say about it?

it depends.. if that google social network is faraway better than google then I will change to google but if its something else like twitter maybe I will just use both..

One of the things that discourage me to switch over to Google is the fact that the majority of my friends are still on facebook and have not yet moved over or even think about it. That initself is a deterrent because if I switch over now then who will I be in communication with. Should many of my friends migrate, that might really get me thinking.
