Re: Ways for LR to protect customers
well it will not continue to verify your account as long as the IP is not changed because as soon as you change your IP the verification message comes in and that is why it is sounding strange to me when you say you receive verification codes for the same IP up to 4 times as i feel that there is probably an error from liberty reserve or your IP provider

Re: Ways for LR to protect customers
well in any case i beg you not to turn off your ip security that is on no occasion should you disable your ip security as these goes a long way in protect your account and safety of your account balance as these will protect you from whosoever wants to try to log in to your account

Re: Ways for LR to protect customers
I used the dynamic IP. I guess Liberty Reserve has the system where they can detect more than one IP we used to use to connect our Liberty Reserve account. Because I never get the e-mail verification number. I use the Internet Cafe which has more than one IP address and it is fine for me.

Re: Ways for LR to protect customers
Talking about the reversing transaction, i think it would be better for liberty reserve to have this kind feature cos nobody is above mistake, one can send money to other person by missing a digit number, so it is advisable to check every information before processing payments to individuals

Re: Ways for LR to protect customers
liberty reserve will never ave tat kind of protection as these will never favour them scammers and it is on these ground that it is left to us to protect our account in as many ways as possible as we can make use of all what we have as i make sure i have a good antivirus on and also i have liberty guard, and also i make sure i make use robo form to generate my passwords

Re: Ways for LR to protect customers
Due to the security issue, at least we are as the user and member of Liberty Reserve have to make our own strategy to keep our account safe. Along with the ways Liberty Reserve try to protect our accounts here. For me, I have a new way, I open like 5 accounts on Liberty Reserve, all with different data.
This way, it is hard for other people to memorize which account belong to me.

Re: Ways for LR to protect customers
This looks strange five accounts and not two.well to identify your account is so easy for a hacker, hence he do post on paid to post forum for instance he might to to the payment request section and obviouly any liberty reserve account you used must surely be yours.i do suggest that we should disenable ovr ip verification this is the only greatest way to be protected

Re: Ways for LR to protect customers
lol...men if you like open 100 accounts if you get careless with your account details you will be neatly hacked as those are not really parameters to your account protection though it can go a little way to protecting your account as they now have a software according to @jambutty of goldentalk.com that takes screen shot your pc screen when you are logging that is why it is advisable to make use of roboform to generate your password and log in details

Re: Ways for LR to protect customers
@Cutie :
you mean "save password" ?? yeah that's one is good too for avoid got hacked..
because one of spyware and virus able to steal our browser cookies lol.. we need to be pro-active for protecting our self account..not just depend to LR security only..
-
Re: Ways for LR to protect customers
Yeah thats right hackers are much smarter than us and i also think we do delete our cookie and history after browsing must especially when browsing our libertyreserve account through a public computer.
-
Re: Ways for LR to protect customers
well that is why it is always good for us to copy and paste our passwords as i have them in my microsoft word so all i do is just copy them from there and later post them directly into my liberty reserve passwords space as i feel that will be hard for the system to recongnise that

Re: Ways for LR to protect customers
But, what are you not afraid if someone know your password with just open your file in microsoft word. Just more becareful my friend. You can loss many your money if someone know your password. For me, I just prefer to type my password rather than copy paste it.

Re: Ways for LR to protect customers
We really have our very own strategies on how we will protect our liberty reserve log-in details. But the good things about liberty reserve is that they have this pin that we also needed to encode in able for us to completely access our LR account. And i really love the liberty reserve security feature.

Re: Ways for LR to protect customers
yes we should have our own way to protect our account. i think LR is very safe and secure. but if we are not safe with out account of course we run the risk of getting our account hacked. but it is not hard to protect our account any ways, so there is no big worry for me. but to make sure i don't let big amount sit on my account . i just sell right away the balance in my LR account.

Re: Ways for LR to protect customers
You getting it wrong friend liberty reserve have provided us with a good secured protection and now it is our duty to protect our account so i don't see any thing hard in protecting our account which is as simple as.
