are you wishing there's more character in the twitter box?

i think there must be more character to be use in the twitter. 144 character really very short . sometimes if we write something in the post then there not much more space and we have to stop. i think there must be more to write but thats interesting to concise your thoughts in minimum

There are times i wished there can be more characters but when i look at how many tweets are allowed (1000 tweets a day) If the characters are increased, what will happen to your wall? Imagine how much spam, lengthy spam you will receive...

I'm happy with the 144 but every now and then i do sometimes wish it's 150 or 160 because my tweet could use a few more characters to complete the thought

mostly there is wish to have the character more than the 140. I think 140 is little bit fair because you can concise the comment, mostly we comment on the celebrities and post our if there is long character then it boring to read the lengthy posts, thats why twitter have made it to the 140 characters only

not really because twitter is just for sending messages.. if you tweet, you just send a message and not a novel or a story so actually you really don't need much characters..

That is one limitation i also noticed about tweeter, but do you know it could actually be that it was put in place to curb lengthy posters who would stop at nothing but bore eeryone with their silly lengthy posts of theirs, so making it short, informative and relivant is the best. Just the way i see it!

I am also with the side that 144 characters are not enough. Due to this i often find myself doing lots of manipulation with the sentences and words so as to accommodate the real meaning within the limited words.

I think taht 140 character limitation is correct because if this limitation is increased then peopl will post articles and essays instead of a tweet and this will make twitter a mess and twitter will kost its ortiginality and its popularity . So it is best that character limit remains same .

We don't need to share novel in twitter it just like a tweet of a bird which is very short we don't story telling in twitter we just say some stuff about happening with our lives and do straight to the point don't need flowery words with your sentence in twitter.

for me if i ask yes i like twitter add more options to their sites because its boring you will just twitt and read comments,twiiter is the second place in social networking as of today,facebook still the leading sites when t comes to social network.

yes absolutely every one wishes for more and i also wish for more character than 140 in the twitter box because the number of character if increase than it becomes more and more cool so that we can have more and more cool tweets and also we can have a happiness and fun in the twitter as everyone following can get entertainment.

I am not okay with the number of character we can use on the site,i expect more from them.Though,some view then as an SMS site but if they can increase that to at least 250 characters,it will be much more okay. It is designed to be used in the simplest and shortest way that's why it has limited no. of characters only.

ok hope you will find the complete word.the text limit is fine.. just image if one can tweet more than 100 text characters.. you'll be reading and reading around unfinished and then another tweet comes around with another 250 text.. tweeting box will be full every time a new tweet comes in..and you will check in the box and making fun with it.

I view Twitter as a text messaging made online. It's just a simple site wherein you'll just send messages directly to the person whom you want to read it, then that's it already. It is designed to be used in the simplest and shortest way that's why it has limited no. of characters only.

Twitter is a very important and unique site.They use it as platform is their verbal abuse and criticism.About when we update a news, we wil just post the links of the news instead of the headlines.They just a way to promote one unique links and not create an entire article or post.
