You can always use the forgot password once you forgot it but by answering the security question, so just make sure the security you chosen were written or save in your computer so just in case you forgot it you can just check it.

actually i use hard password and i use password same in all account so that i never get confuse in password.to safe my password it is long and there are words and numbers also now it is safe.

If you're using lastpass or similar application that helps you choose the hard password then it is always better for any email. Not just ymail or gmail. In case of such password generators and keepers, you have to rely on their server and local software that makes the passowrds and stores it for you. I have learned over a period of time that it is always better to rely on them than typing it all way around.

most of us don't know about the how password is more secured. Its because when we type the password and login then the password in encrypted while sending the request to the server and server decrypt the password using the same algorithm.That is why the hacker cant hack you ID

it really doenst matter how complicated or secure your password is, if your computer gets compromised with a keylogger u could have the greatest pass, you'll get hacked anyway.

its all a matter of precaution

we have the secure passwords because yahoo have separated the unsecured message as a spam and we must delete all the spam message because hackers can send those kind of message to hack your id. Also the yahoo use the encryption and decryption method (this is IT term) to have more secured password.

For me my password is really very long as it will be hard to hackers to get through my account. I think we have to be careful using public computers as some have keyloggers and can really hack our account with that. We have to know that making our password long helps to secure our account.

For me password is very different. I try to mix two or three things of different matter. I try to use symbols and numbers along with alphabets to make it more difficult to known by others. Its one of the best thing.

Yeah! @Sixteen that is the truth about about that,if we want to keep our account safe we have to stop logging into our acccount on a public system so that we can keep our account safe.I do log into my yahoo account on mobile and i have been using mobile ever since i created the yahoo account and it has been all good for me.

I make it difficult by combining letters and numbers.. and also caps letter and I make sure to take note of it.. I save it on note pad in case I forgot it..

i also find that combination of the letters and the number are more secure than others , we can also use the case sensitive password with letters, numbers and symbols. @debchi: thanks for the post as you have mention that we should not log in to the account on a public system

don't forget to add alternate email addres, phone number and security question to make your yahoo account more safe.
and don't forget to change pass and security question continuously every month

My password is so much secured and i trust my password so much well as i have within the pasword letters and thennumbers with in it and ever since i have been using the password i have never for one day had any hack issue on my yahoo account not in time soon.Yahoo has a very good set up in security in my own view.

it has been almost 6years tat i have been using the yahoo as the social networking sites and i have never got the problem with security issue with yahoo. We hear the google and facebook Id being hacked but i have never hear this news on yahoo, so i think yahoo has the best security system

For those using a personal computer it's better you dont save passord and your login details on your computer, if you must do, then you would need to download a very strong antivirus.

no i dont think so that we can't save the password in our person computer, we have the fire wall on that prevent much more things from the web and we can simply avoid the fake message by not submitting anything or just we can delete that kind of message

I so much trust on my password for a very good and secured account with my yahoo account all the time and i think with time,yahoo is going to beef up their security feature as time goes on.I so much love my yahoo account.But this days that they are into the yahoobeta i have not been good with the account.

i don't make such a difficult password to make my account safe.
i only do these things (change security question, make sure you have an alternate email address, do not click any suspicious link and update my password every 1 or 2 months)

Don’t use the same password for everything,Use one password, customized for each site,Use a password manager,ust because you need a unique password for each account you’ll be creating doesn’t mean you should be staring at the books and plants on your desk for inspiration.

I would advice if you must save your password on your computer then you should atleast do have a liberty reserve guarde installed into your computer using your firefox browser platform, it will alert you of any phising activities oing on near you.
