Anyone with Upgraded Accounts?

I upgraded to premier account because one of the site where i accept donations for my work in programming wants me to upgrade in order to get bigger funds. NOw that site is no longer working i am stuck with the premier account. i do have benefit of less hassle and insta money transfer but charges are more for sure.

do you think that paypal gives us a provision to upgrade our account because ever since i have been seeing about paypal, i have not come across anything of that such and level. In fact i have not seen not to even talk of having the upgraded paypal account. So if any one is giving you, then he should also put me in budget. because i will also need an upgraded information.

I see. What do you mean stuck? You can downgrade you paypal account so that you will not have big fees. I never heard yet other online workers about upgrading and why it is their requirements. I think that some jobs online wanted to upgrade account too.

Yes I think downgrading your account is the best idea so that you will not have big fees, I also upgrade my account because one of the affiliate that I joined requires it, I need to downgrade it for good. I'm not really sure how to downgrade paypal accounts.

If I downgrade that then it'll not be able to recieve the funds as donation from flattr and similar other donation sites. I get those micro donations about 7-8$ per month from paypal. NOt big money but atleast premier account lets me have it. I can't use it with personal account, that's why it is stuck.

You can change your account back to personal or you can open another account since we are allowed to maintain two account. one personal and one premier. So just open another account.

I have another account made for personal payments but in case of india any account you open the fees are pretty much the same. They are not charging the processing fees anymore on bank transfer but still they're charging minor fees though.

Do you mean you have two personal account? As far as I know its not allowed by paypal to have two personal accounts. So I think its better that you close the other one and concentrate to hold the other one. Because if you going to keep the two and you get caught you end up losing both account.

I have been using Paypal since almost 4 yaers now without any problem and still i don't have an upgraded account here as i am still using the basic account which i am happy with. I have withdrawn cash on many occassions without having any sort fo problems here for longer period and hence i prefer Paypal over other payment processors online

I recently found out that we can actually upgrade our PP accounts. I've checked the benefits and that includes lower fees but do you guys think we should upgrade? I think its free although I'm sure there will be difference in the TERMS. But anyone who have tried?

yes we can upgrade our account anytime but you should be honest if you really need to upgrade your account i mean you must be selling something or offering a services because this one privilege by paypal we should not abuse

The terms of services in an upgraded account is different from a personal account I already have a business account in AP. Haven't used it that much really.

I haven't tried upgrading my paypal account yet, but if you say that the premier account has lower fees, then maybe the personal account has much lower fees than the premier account? Since of course, the business account would have the most expensive fees coz the ones who use it are online merchants. So for sure the other 2 accounts fees are cheaper.

Upgraded accounts have many advantages they enjoy over those who are just ordinary or call it normal accounts. If there fees are very low then it points out the fee charged while converting to upgraded member will be large.

I think there is also a send and receive limit amount if you only use a personal paypal account. When you have reached that amount, then i think you'll be forced to upgrade your account. So if you use paypal often, upgrading is inevitable in the long run.

If you have been recieving and sending lots of funds in your paypal accounts and you finally reach the limit of personal paypal accounts then you wont have much problem in upgrading your account. It is very good if you can beable to upgrade your account.

Premier accounts are much safe In my opinion and if you're planning to get funds or donations then it is better to have paypal premier. I think there are people who pay using that option. I have seen that people with no verification are likely to have account issues. In case of verified and premier there seems to be no such issue and help is also good. so overall get an upgrade if you use it regulaly.

Premier account is more of vip sort of account. Those who are in this category of accounts in paypal are cared of more than the normal personal account. The premier account holder enjoy some additional advantage over the other account on paypal.

Premier account? What countries are allowed to have premier account? Because when I open PP website theirs only two account business and personal but theirs no account for premier. So I'm wondering why did you say that theirs a premier account.

Well different choices they say for different foxes, but personally i think its better to have a personal account than an upgraded one.
Why? It's simple, cos the terms of services in an upgraded account is different from a personal account I think if I am not mistaken on this and it's the sure way to go about it.

I refute your claim that having a personal account is better than having an upgraded account. The benefits of an upgraded account is better than the benefits acruable to an account not upgraded. But in all what we should bear in mind before choosing any account type is if we can afford the fees and again what we need to do with our account.
