I thought i would request payout but they refused it saying you need to have minimum balnce of $10 in order to request a payout which will charge me $1. I have kept the money in stock for more than 15 days and nothing happened yet. i also recieved a new update this week though havent read that update. 2) Export-related payments for goods and services into your PayPal account may not exceed US$500 per transaction.

      Re: Paypal Restrictions in India

Unfortunately there are no alternative ways. You can however accept money from okpay or alertpay and then move the funds to bank any time you want. One good way to bypass all this is that you should consider using credit card based on your fixed desposit account. for paypal alternatives, this resource may help you.

you can also find a legit exchanger to your country that exchange your paypal to your currency straight to your bank account and I think that will solve your problem..

      Re: Paypal Restrictions in India

Indian exchangers are not good at all. I mean currency conversion rate for 1 USD=45INR. but here the exchangers are charging only 40 INR and when it comes to buying LR, theyre asking for 50 or 60 INR per dollar. so that is like cheating. so exchangers are not good option here.

It looks like the exchangers are getting higher amount when they got transactions with you. They get a big percent on selling that is really an expensive exchange price, here in the PHilippines the conversion is just 42 dollars and 40 in exchange value.

      Hi Amit.
      Don't worry.
Withdraw $500 at a time. Like that you can make several withdraws until you transfer the complete amount into your bank account.

Alertpay doesn't have that restrictions, but the problem with alertpay is that it is difficult to verify your alertpay account. In India, we have to deposit $50 in our alertpay account via bank wire in order to verify our alertpay account.

      Re: Paypal Restrictions in India

I was not aware of this restriction from alertpay. For me bank wire from alertpay seems to be not possible at the moment. Still not registered in the bank wire format. But i would like to see if there is any big transaction in my account that they're keeping or going to lift.

Yes, people in the Philippines are very lucky, Why? 1st because we can use paypal on it's mid level, i can't say full because we can't use the add funds function, second is we have many trusted exchangers that will not give a super low conversion rate/

We also hope that. I remember that i earn well in some sites that owned by Indian and they were honest and fast in payments. But when the restrictions of paypal comes into the accounts of Indians it is now most of them are hardly to have the business in normal. Having high payout and many changes or need to adjust.

If your country does not support paypal you can use a virtual private server like hidemyass and etc.

it seems like an old thread but paypal has lifted its limit now .Now a paypal account holder can receive upto 3000 USD which has become the maximum limit of transaction but still in india paypal has put the most restrictions because we cant buy goods with our paypal balance which is not fair

      Re: Paypal Restrictions in India

There is still limit of 10$ before withdrawal. That limit is not removed. Also you're not allowed to use banks for adding money. Paypal has closed that options for indians way earlier. Paypal is just not ready to offer interest to those who have money in their company. that seems to be very shady of paypal and no wonder like indian government many other countries are after paypal for such behavior. Paypal indeed is sneaky.

      Re: Paypal Restrictions in India

do not know paypal as it turns out. very tight with new regulations, but it only applies to India not to another country, I wonder why India are treated like that, chances are many people who commit fraud in india paypal. you should use another method of payment because paypal is too hard.

They have one more regulation that you are now allowed to keep money upto 100$ and that too for 7 days and then money should be trasfered. I guess they're earning a lot due to the money kept in the paypal account. In any case it is always better to have alertpay or LR for indians.

This is crazy rules. I'm really frustrated why india has this kind of rules implemented to paypal. And I think paypal must not follow bank of india ruling. I mean this is international payment processors. So that means they don't have jurisdiction over this.

      Re: Paypal Restrictions in India

I think this rule is to remove the money laundering and criminals. I think it's okay for government to have this rule. Besides paypal is more transparent in india because of these rules. so yes, we do have issues with getting money but we are fearless about the government issues as all the money is monitored and no need to worry about frauds now.
