Buying land on belts where planning permission to build is just a year or so away could also be a great bargain buy as land like that usually shoots up in price ocne planning permission is given to build on those plots.

To me I would prefer to invest in the stock exchange market to real estate for now because real estate involves big money to play and stock exchange market you do not have to go with big money. By God's grace very soon my preference will change to real estate.

Now a days, there are lot of investment options. People really don't where to invest their money, and how to invest their money, some may invest in stocks, some may invest in mutual fund, some may invest in gold, some may invest in life insurance, like wise their was lot of options, which would you like to prefer, coming to my point i would to invest in Real Estate. Why i choose to invest in only real estate is as fallows.

1. Purchasing a land is always a better idea, don't know whether can make a property in future.

2. Having a land, where can build your own house in future.

3. Loans are available in future to make an independent house.

4. you can also sale your land in future, as land will to go downline, and always have greater chance to make a good money.

Hence, I prefer purchasing land or investing on land is a better idea, then to invest in all the other options mention above.

In my opinion it is always better to invest in house rather than in land because you can earn instantly from that by renting out it and loans are also easily available on built up houses. This increase your income and appreciation is also good in these investments. And if you want that property for your own use, you may reconstruct it.

I also think that invest in real estate is a good idea since land is something that can't be made by human and is the most valuable thing right now as our population is increasing every second. But it will takes long before you can have profit. Compare to stock market or forex trading in which you can double your capital in less than one year with good strategy, it's not so promising. But as for investment in long term, land is the best option out there.

Additionally, if you are planning to invest in any property, there are many factors to be considered like current value of the property, location, proper documentation, etc. Where i live, property value may fluctuate due to political instability etc. Property value increase in my city where population increases.

In our country a land lord is considered as a luckiest person who is praised by the god. So people never sell there land unless the requirement is quite urgent in nature. But now a days the real estate business has changed all equations and people are trying to acquire more and more lands in sub urban areas and are selling them once the price becomes high enough. But these type of business needs some huge amount of money to maintain the business.

invest in land is better but it is not for short term. invest in land and after 10 years its price will be tribled according to market condition. so much factors will add value to the land. so it is better for long term purpose but not right for short term.
