Bookmark Google.

I'm using firefox and it's also ready bookmarked in my browser, Ijust found out that firefox is earning every time we search something into it. I guess bookmarking Google is good but it could be more great if you just use it as your homepage and just bookmark those site that you love to stop by.

I would rather use the search engine on the right side of my Firefox address bar rather than that bookmark trick. For me it is much easier and you don't have to do anything. I removed all other search engines from and kept only google and yahoo.

Well, that's true! I also use that Google search field on my firefox but when I'm almost using the pages, so all I need to do is to add a new tab and just use that field, but since my browser are firefox, I don't bother to change it anymore. It's better to bookmark some site than Google.

Xmark seems to be much better bookmarking add-on than google bookmarks. Google spies on your data for bookmarking as well. SO i guess best option is to use xmarks which is independent bookmarking software. You can also use delicious for bookmarking, they don't spy on your data unlike google.

In my case, I don't bookmark google.. Why should I?? Its very easy to type google.com so why should I bookmark it??

Absolutely! but it would be better if you used it as your homepage if you aren't fanatic with some different website, it would be more easier to access it if each time you open your browser Google already in front of you.

I have also done the same.I have kept it as my main home page.I have selected it in my Bookmarks toolbar too so that when I open a new tab in a browser,so I just click on it and the page opens so easily..I think,it is time consuming to write the whole address in navigation toolbar..

Well, I guess you're the one who have a great explanation to bookmark Google, make it a homepage and also bookmarked it. Great idea, though my browser has Google search bar installed in it, I can't search Images when I prefer to search it because it is located in the Google webpage it self.

Well, if you are a fanatic on some websites, you can bookmark it so you don't have to type it on your URL field anymore. I found it useful when your situation is like this I have mentioned. But I still prefer it as my homepage.

This is correct, I do not even think we need to put Google in our BookMark list. Because anytime I start to open the Internet Browser, Google homepage is already shown first!

Well, I can say that it is okay bookmarking it if you don't want to type in your URL address and just simply click it on your book mark tool bar, why? because if you can't make it as your homepage because you prefer to make Facebook as your homepage, of course you can book mark Google so it could lessen your time than typing it.

I am also bookmark google and not only google but all the important sites i'm always browsing... Especially google translate, i always bookmark them....

Well i haven't bookmarked as list in my firefox bookmark option but i certainly have google as my homepage. As google is my frequent need, i can have it with just a click in "+" and carry on my search activities with ease.

Why do you even need to bookmark Google? Just install google tool bar and you can search with google, get translation, open Gmail pretty much anywhere. If not, make it your homepage should do the trick.

Your absolutely right about it my friend, well, in my case I already have a Google tool bar on my browser, I'm using Firefox and even Google Chrome already have it not just as homepage but also like on what we can see on Firefox. I case you are just using a browser other than this two, I think it would be okay to bookmark it as long as you like. LOL

In my case, i put it on my homepage so that every time i open my browser i will directly see the google search engine. And in my tab search bar, i have it set to google so that every time im about to look for something i just type it and then another page will appear with the result from google.

This way of bookmarking sites is really a good feature of google products too. For me I do not need to bookmark google site because It's in my home page everytime I open my web browser i can see google on it because it's already set as my home page.

I think the idea of the thread starter is to lessen the time of typing it on the url page, I bet the homepage of his/her browser is stick on his favorite site, and I guess he/she found out that it is cool and nice to bookmark the homepage of Google.
