Google Vs Yahoo

What is the different between Google and Yahoo search engine ? according to me it similar each other is there other usage that not seen

there are worlds apart,for me google is the best there is, it's using an intelligent bot to give it\s users the possible answer to their queries you can be sure the reliability of their algorithm...

Sure Google is the best search engine in the world it is much good than yahoo. I think if any one make search for one thing in the tow search engines. you will get much better and targeted resultes in google thanm in yahoo. I only use google search engine now. but the only thing that yahoo is better than google in is the E-mail in my opinion.

that i don't agree if you happen to signup on any traffic exchange or list exchange ,they will turn you down if you register a yahoo email ,yahoo email and messenger are only for those personal account it was never intended for affiliate,blogger or who are into email campaigning yahoo has a very strict spam policy...

Google and Yahoo are both search engine. They have the same purpose, to search for everything. For me, in terms of user friendliness specially to other people that are new to virtual world(internet), they may choose Google as their primary search engine.

It is so hard for me to compare both site. Google is much richer than Yahoo. Google do have a Youtube,blogspot,and Adsense too. What I like about Yahoo is that when it come to news they are much updated.

it's not a question of who is more richer ,it's a but who's giving the best results amd judging from your post you haven't compare yet who is the best one you better make a comparison so that you can decide who is the better one

Both are good and if we want to compare them,i will say that both have their own special area where they are both better than the other.In searching online,Yahoo cannot beat Google.Google is the best.But news online,i rate Yahoo the more.

In comparing these two, there are sides wherein Google is better than Yahoo, then there are also some sides wherein Yahoo is better than the former one. I think it's just a case-to-case basis if we will compare these two. But as of now, I can see that more people vote for Google not just the better one but the best among all.

Yeah that is right compared to google, Yahoo for me is nothing because the fact that I first knew google. And its quite funny that I only open Yahoo for mail and didnt know its also a search engine. Haha

I think Google is the great and is clearly the most important player on the web right now. yahoo tries harder. They try harder to open and inclusive, of course they have to try harder because they are number two, at least in the mind of web users it comes to search, and which is the starting point for most everything on the web today.

the reason why they have
more indexed sites than
Yahoo is because of Adsense.
Since Adsense is an
advertising program that they have and a lot of sites/
blogs have this one, then of
course these sites have the
chances to show up in Google
searches.

Both are similar in their functions..But have you ever compared the search results that you get for the same keyword? The difference lies there..You will love to check the results that you get through google.. At the same time, you can find even irrelevant results at yahoo

Google are great compare to Yahoo, but I don't think Google has the same application of Yahoo like Yahoo messenger, I believe that's one of the advantage of Yahoo to Google.

I a m sure that Google is the best search engine every day use.Google is fast to search,and if you compared to others,Google is the top,and the next is yahoo.So in my daily use,Google is my first daily use,and not much in yahoo.I use yahoo just for emails opening and also read news.So there is higher and lower rate both of them

When it comes to search engine, I believe there's nothing can be compare to Google functionality, it's easy to load the result of what you're searching for and load the page fast of the desired page you want to open.

I find it hard to compare both Search Engines that is really Good. What's so nice about this site is that even though they're different from each other they're still used by everybody.

But when it comes comparing the number of users, Yahoo is not match to Google, even on it's product like Google Map, but I think Yahoo have an advantage to Google and it's his Yahoo messenger.

you have a point bro. Yahoo messenger is the ace of yahoo site. However, yahoo must think of a more innovative features on its site that will match the google power.

That's true, even the application and the products of Google is now getting useful and frequently uses by the users. Yahoo must think of something unique which Google doesn't have. Even though Google doesn't have a tool like YM but there's a new application that using now of many people.
