How often are Google Earth images updated?

well google earth updates quite frequently and although the newer ones are better coz they are already packed with better images and sorroundings of every possible place in great extent. Moreover u can see small, small places in google earth.

i dont know when and who update google earth but as i know they will give the best for their service.i hope then i can see more update of my country image in their service too since not all location indexed.so hope they will add it soon so then we can find any location even in remote area

i dont know too but i am sure that they often update it because i observed it when i need some good screen shots on my location. they are updating it when there is still few vehicles on the road to make their images clean and more precised. you can also observe the changes.

I think the frequency of Google Earth updated is good enough now, and can follow the demand ot Google user worldwide.
I rarely complain to see the update from Google Earth. Basically if I want to find something through Google Earth, I can find it in the big line.

well i guess it depends on places, the most viewed places are updated frequently.my home image was updated after a month. even some classified places are not allowed to updated due to restrictions

it is great if they update on a regular basis as there are lots of calamities happen just like this year, for sure the mountain became less, there are mountain collapsing, there are bridges collapsing too. There are countries full of floods, are they updated on this area too.

I agree with your opinion, and beside that their are some places that changes their street name and landmark. It would that good that the things that we can find there is not updated because we could that get the exact details of what we are looking for.

Like here in Manila, there are lots of provinces that vanished because of flood, does our government have the right person to update the Google map for Philippines? And I agree on Reyah, some street names are changed and actually I am living here I do not the new name of some places here.

Google panda is quality search filter that cuts the crap results from first page of google and move them to later pages. but in this process they're moving some political and business pages on the first pages. this maybe something that people need to know that google cares about money not users.

I wish to have it be passionately updated. It really helps, especially in news. News can use Google Earth instead of getting there in the exact location to describe a certain place and it is good for comparison of before and after, after a certain tragedy happen.

Maybe they updated their Google Earth. We all know how rich Google is. All are possible to their company because they have a huge capital for innovations.

Yeah not all country does appreciate this service because it can be use in a kind of crime act.so as of the updating hopefully google have to update it if any changes in any included country come's up.

But I still wish they are updated. If they do that they can excel and most of the work related to geography will only rely and trust them when it comes to updating Earth structure. Maybe they are updated when we do not know how often.

Well the update depends on the staellite and the area which you are trying to see. Old areas are sometimes very difficult people rarely visit old areas and that's why google care less of those areas but i think anyone of us had not seen their hardware so it is unfair to say that whether it is daily updated by google or it is a preuploaded data.

I guess google earth images are updated in regular basis. Since google earth is one of the most used application so there should not be any mistake while showing the images.
