High security features, maintenance, keeping of strict rules are the things that they keep on doing all for the security of each paypal account. Even paypal did these things already, users always forgot that they also have the responsibilities to do with their accounts to keep it safe.

Just this month, I purchased an item on eBay and the payment was via Paypal. I experienced problem with the item and after some weeks I got a refund. I am quite secure when transacting via Paypal. Or is it eBay which has a good system?

I agree with you, we really also have a big responsibility on securing our paypal fund especially when using it on buying online. We must learn how to distinguish an honest seller. We must keep in mind that fake seller is rampant in the internet so we need to know the history and the previous client of that seller meaning it must have a good feedback from previous buyer.

that is our duty to check, by googling it and spend some time to search some review about the online shop it will help us to reduce the chance to be scammed too, and if still not safe we have dispute feature that can protect us to againts fraud things

It is safer for me to log in and out on Paypal on my laptop. I feel doubtful opening my paypal account on the internet cafe. I know there are people who will copy some of the data, especially my log in infos. There were scenarios before that someone's Paypal was hacked and when she logged in again, someone withdraw her money to a certain site. Her suspect is that site who hacked her Paypal.

just install your computer with antivirus it will help you to detect the site that will stolen your data, and login in interent cafe will be more secure since they will secure the way you connect to paypal. so far just see i they have https provider there

Make sure first that you have a verified account in paypal because I believe it has something to do with the account wether it is verified or not. And don't just use it on any site that requires paypal payment. You should know first if it'ssafe to transact with that certain site.

I always log in my account in some other computer including inter cafes, I never experienced any problem, maybe I'm just lucky that those computers doesn't have key logger or any third party that can get my account log in details.

safe as long as you use your own computer and your don't expose your paypal details to any one. but besides that it is hard actually to say that our account is always. hackers are always good specially if you are not careful with your account

i talk in the terms of server LOL, not in client terms. well i think everyone know that we must have our own computer when we have payment processor account, and that is fool if you shared your data to everyone LOL, because that is too risky and i think even newbie will careful with it

One thing I like about paypal is that they are really goo in securing your funds and actually this is the problem I experience sometimes. too much protective. Its happen when I send or buy funds in one site multiple times in one day they limit my account because they question why I need to do multiple transactions in one day in one site.

They are too protective and they don't give the interest when you keep the funds with them. That is the big problem. I have noticed that paypal is also very strict on one end and at the other side makes simple errors that makes it hard for sellers to sell the stuff to the buyers. I have seen that some of the bad purchases are often causing the sellers to stop the business with paypal.

well i hope so that all those rented computers from cafes are safe. Freezing account in paypal is horrible for me and i dont want to experience it. They are very strict but sometimes too much may harm us even though we dont really mean it. It was their other way of getting peoples money i think.
