How do I send a private message pm on facebook?

i dont know how to.Click on Inbox, then the button, write the name of the recipient, a title and a body, and hit Send.
Alternatively, you can click the button below a member's profile to send him/her a PM?

Yes that's the way to do. I guess you know it.

Anyway, you need to click the inbox and fill in what it says and send the message to one or more person. That's it.
Alernatively, you can hit the 'Send message' button which will be on the profile to send the message to a particular person.

You need to have friend with the person who wants to send you the private message. You can got the profile page and then click on send message button and that way you'll be able to send private message. Make sure you know the profile name of your buddy because that can be used to get message.

go to the page of your friend you want to message.. click the button "send message ". write what you want to say to your friend. then send. just like that. try to experiment if you are just a newbie in the world of facebook.

yeah you need to visit the page of the person whom you will send a message. After that there is a 'send message' link beside his name. facebook message is really complicated now than before. the archives also in the chatbox are becoming messages when ypu are offline.
