Why is the Transaction History before 2011 not available?

I try to see my old transaction history on my Liberty Reserve account, and I am very surprised!!!!

Please enter date in mm/dd/yyyy format. History log before 2011 is not available. History log before 2011 is not available.

Why is it not available?? HOW CAN WE GET THE HISTORY BEFORE 2011 if we need it??

well i think not just history of 2011 my friend..i was try to search the history more than 3 month ago and they said "Payment not found" although i was put the right information include specific batch..hmm that is really weird..or right now limited to search history of transaction?

Its because the range that you can look at is only 15 days if my memory is correct. So if you don't save your transaction you will loss all of your information after 15 days. I'm hoping that they will extend their database to at least to all of your transaction but I guess they are saving space.

I think they're remving old logs to save some space. You should always download logs of 30 days and that way you can store them on google sheets or on your hard drive. I think this is good practice for those who are invoved in liberty reserve money making. It is recommended for these guys.

I think this is very bad thing from a big payment processor like LR, because users have the right to have their history of Transaction for all time the use LR, and I think payment processor like LR must have good severs to save all information of members. LR must improve their service more and add more features that make the use of this payment processor more easy.

I do not think it is the correct answer, because 14 days is the range, but we still can see the data history of last 2 months, with the range of 14 days!!

LR is deleting history quickly for some reason. That's why I experience with them and I'm having problems with it when posting proofs and the like. Making me quickly post proofs after getting paid by some sites that I used to have.

it is harder now actually to view the transaction history . Because they would show only our transaction history with in the certain date range . unlike before they would show everything regardless if the transaction is more than a month already . But I wasn't aware that we would not be able to see the transaction we had last year

So, I know, all members have the same experience about the transaction history after sharing the stories on this thread here. But, we do not know why LR delete the history...
My guess, just to save the space on the website?? In order to make the website smooth and always fast??

I do think that they delete the history because they are not government controlled and there is also risk for money laundering. SO chances are there that they do delete the history. So most likely they're into clearning up the drive so that don't get labeld as money laundering payment processor, it's my opinion.

It can be the reason. Because in my mind, we all know, Liberty Reserve has been down for few times and also doing maintenance few times. So, if the database not that heavy, it is just to make the website lighter and no more downtime..

ok i see... was also wondering why i cannot really access my old date informations . But i feel the admin of the site that is liberty reserve should try to do something about it as these might create some problems with some investing sites

So far, I have made a couple of paypal/liberty reserve exchanges successfully. I also try to exchange with members who I have already been exchanging with before. I exchange with a new person only when I can't find an old exchanger or the new person that offers to exchange already has a good m2m exchange history or he or she is a member with high +rep and can't run away.

I need to be more careful because some exchangers are hard to manage and could get their account limited and in turn we could get into trouble as well. So it is better to do transaction with people who have better paypal trnasfer records. In case of LR, there is no such issues and you can send and get money from anyone. But this increases log capcity on LR, so that is the reason they're not showing old records.

i don't need to see my old transactions from last year in LR. so i don't have the problem to see them or know those past transactions. after all i have a list of my transactions in my exchanger when i log on the exchanger site so i know how much payment i have received in all last year.

It is natural for them to not to have those history because they do deal with one way transaction and it is always better to close the old history to put an end. I think tha tis how money laundering stuff works by clearning the money evidence. I don't see any other reason here for that.

Yeah that is probably a possibility that they are hiding the evidences for their money laundering. But we must get used to the fact the Liberty Reserve is not keeping those old transactions in our history panels.

Well, as we know many transactions on LR are sometime fraud and many people use this e-currency for money laundering, so I guess they try to protect their company so if they get some checking from government there will be not proofs that LR are doing some money laundering.

Does they really do this money laundering stuff? If they are doing this then it is an illegal act from them and for sure if this will be proven a lot of members who use their services will transfer to other payment processors because it will lose their credibility.
