Re: Demo Trading vs Real Trading
Demo account is useful by any mean, though you cannot make profit with trading on Demo since it's not real money but if you spend time for it you will gain more experience. And it's even more useful tool for testing strategy.

Re: Demo Trading vs Real Trading
Yes, spending time in demo account will give us more experiences about condition of market and also how to act in certain condition in the market. It can build our technical and good analysis with our method and style so technically we can be better trader. It's useful to test our new strategy or update strategy before we used it in real account.

Re: Demo Trading vs Real Trading
we know the importance of a demo account, to study market conditions and start making deals with virtual money, may be more beneficial if we participate in the demo contest, if we are able to become winners we will get a prize to trade real account,

Re: Demo Trading vs Real Trading
winning on the demo trading often times does not guarantee that we would also in live trading. both has its advantages and disadvantages.the important thing is we need to be careful in trading and learn from your mistakes. although we would say that eventually our main goal is to be successful in live trading than just stick in demo trading for too long.

Re: Demo Trading vs Real Trading
Well demo training is good idEA for those beginners, who are interested know about forex and how it works.me as a beginner,i would rather do the demo training to at least give me ideas or tactics ,so in the real trading,i can at least ready ,and have little hope to win.

Re: Demo Trading vs Real Trading
course demo trading is very useful for novice traders, the forex market like as a forest full of wild animals that can pounce at any time, by learning the demo first, at least we'll understand the real market situation, although not using real money, but currency movements are same as the real account

Re: Demo Trading vs Real Trading
Though Demo is useful but for me, I rather spend time for real rather than for Demo since I know it's just waste of time but it's not like I use my own pocket anyway, I take advance of welcome bonus or bonus for posting that many brokers offered now. I feel more discipline while trading on Real

Re: Demo Trading vs Real Trading
yes if you don't mind tlo trade the bonus at once then it will be great to learn or get into live trading again immediately. but at least learn some basic first in the demo trading so that you can be more prepared to do some live trading. don't do live trading when you barely know any thing about the basics.

Re: Demo Trading vs Real Trading
indeed sometimes we get bored with the demo, because although a large amount of profit in it still can not be withdrawn, and unable to buy milk,
so far I also just tried real account with the amount I've Relax if the loss, but with bonus rewards from post in the forum, I much prefer seeking capital from the forums

Re: Demo Trading vs Real Trading
Demo trading no doubts is good for testing strategies and updates before trying it out with real money, but it will never give you the real and complete market experience even if you trade it for ever. What makes a better trader is actually how a trader is able fit into the real market situations. A lot remains untold with the demo accounts and that is the reason a lot of naive traders have but burnt fingers to show for their venture into forex trade.

Re: Demo Trading vs Real Trading
indeed no matter how good demo trading is in developing our skills there are some things we won't learn in demo trading which we can learn only in live trading. but that does not mean that we should skip demo trading. only that don't expect that you would learn every thing in demo trading. there are just some things you would learn only by doing live trading.

Re: Demo Trading vs Real Trading
It is very important to go through demo accounts first before going for the real trade. Demo trades help trader to be familiar with the real trade so that when trader go for the real trade, they don't have to be nervous. So I think demo account trade is very important if we really want to fix our role in the forex trade.

Re: Demo Trading vs Real Trading
No doubt, Demo trading is very important for a beginner and it teaches a beginner about all the basics of forex trading. But I am against the demo trading for a long time. I think demo trading should be done minimum one week and maximum one month.
After that we should open a real cent account to learn and face forex with the actual spirit.

Re: Demo Trading vs Real Trading
i think that is a very short time for you to practice trading in demo trading. i think if you are not afraid or dont mind to lose a lot of money then you can just practice for a month or less in demo trading before going to live trading. but i think it is very much advisable to do only demo trading for first 3 months of trading.

Re: Demo Trading vs Real Trading

Re: Demo Trading vs Real Trading
Most of the result from the Demo Trading will be totally different with Real Trading, even using the EA Forex Robot. This is the fact, by the time, the result is not as good as the Demo Trading.
The emotion is one of the biggest factor here!

Re: Demo Trading vs Real Trading
ndeed, sometimes emotional factors can control the way our trade to be different, when the demo makes a good profit, but it could be different when the real account, then from it, it is essential to improved trading psychology, emotions that sometimes affects the quality of the trading is important to be minimized, i think
