limitation on the profile name

I think that there is difference between the names that are may not be allowed by facebook and actually restricting you to changing the profile name a number of times. I wanted to use Sir Tirus as my username on google and it failed because I could use the word Sir as the first name.

yupp i also found that there is limitation on changing our profile name on facebook. i also tried it but i could not change my name

I would still prefer to hear a formal announcement from facebook regarding this as I have never experienced this before. This would mean that you might end up being stuck with a facebook profile name that you just changed to for the fun of it if this is true.

That is true there is a limitation because i've been changing my name many times and i reached the limit now but it is still easy to change your name even you have reached the limitation just try searching on google because as i have made a research about it.

I never changed my profile but yes i heard that whenever you will change your profile name you have to verify yourself by giving your mobile number or any other verification process.I think that changing profile name means that facebook thinks that our profile has been hacked and now the hacker has changed your name to his one.

now you can see facebook doesn't allow to change the facebook name at all. I dont know its only with me or you guys are also having the same thing. When i try to change profile name of my secondary account then FB show me message "we are inspiring user to use their real name" .

well i can change mine whenever i wanted well just locate it at your privacy panel i think.well it's there facebook wont defy you with such things. well its a social networking site so it is normal to have a change and change of name depends on your mood.

But there is a limitation how many times you can change your name but if you are just switching into to names in Facebook then there is no problem with it but the limitation is, how many times you can change your name as you will add new name on your account.

well i think there is none of the restriction you are saying. well i have just change 3 times this month of june. depending on my mood. if i am happy my name is a happy one. well if not ill change it to unhappy name i always use Japanese names.

Well i have not been all aware of this one here and i think that this should not be on facebook as there will be some kind of limitations of people on the social site.i think its part of fun to have the profile change not to have limitations.I really doubt that facebook should have limitations in the profile name.

Sometimes for me, I do not like to see the limitation on the Profile name on Facebook. Specially if I need to make an account for my business here, then I have to find the closest name I can use. Because usually Facebook does not allow us to use like particular business names.

Well yeah and its not good to use another business name that is not our own as it will be a kind of issue even with the company that we used their name for our business profile name or even a personal account.But then i think facebook should allow us to change the profile names as manytimes as we want on our facebook account.

It is okay to use some username in Facebook if your Facebook account purpose is to advertise but it is good if you will be more realistic because how can you gain the trust of the others when you don't seem a trusted person make yourself as a trusted person by using your real name as your profile name.

We need to remember that using or changing our profile names is our own personal choice and no one can make that choice besides ourselves. As long as facebook does not limit this which I suspect is not the case then most of us will continue to do so to spice up our profiles.

I have never changed my name up to five times. The only thing I noticed is that you are not permitted to use some names. There was a time that I wanted to change my name to simply 'son of man' because the i just got tired of recieving too many friend request then and it was rejected.

Well i have not changed my name on facebook for the first time as well and i have been so much good with the name that i am using on facebook,its my real name and my friends do get at me whenever they search for me on facebook and i am so much happy to have the facebook name on facebook.

No i dont think there is the limitaton of name on the facebook i have also change my name but it didnot mention about it

i use facebook but i never try to change my profile name so i have no knowledge about it i think there is limitation on the profile name changing.

It wouldn't mention about the limitation once you change it but there is a maximum number how many times you can change your name in Facebook so maybe just change your name twice and just switch between that so you won't exceed the limit with the changing name.

I think we should use our own real name.Better not to change our name many more times. Facebook also control to change our profile name. If we are boring sometimes
at that time we can change our profile name with limitation.
