Yahoo domains

I regret buying a domain at Yahoo! small businesses. To anyone who I shared the deal with, I'm really sorry for the trouble both of us encountered. The price might have been cheap ($1 domains, anyone?) but it sure did take a lot of time and effort to register and connect the domain with my webhost. TIME = MONEY.

I do hope they'll improve their service, since they do charge quite a huge sum of cash after all.

I never had heard of trouble in registration. I have seen similar issue with namecheap as well. But in terms of service namecheap are way too good than godaddy. I have found that they're much better in terms of service as well. But if you're into small business stuff then yahoo domains is worth the trouble.

I'm not interested with sub domains. i knew that Yahoo is offering a domain name but i don't know the price because you know web hosting is more important. Domain name is just a free if you bought a web hosting many site offers that.

Yes i agree that yahoo domain are cheap at first but it is hard to use their control panel. Yes i probably go to Go daddy and some other web hosting sites. You will pay more but the service is much reliable.

I've never tried to purchase domain from yahoo. I think it is much expensive from other competitors. Is this true? But I think Yahoo domains have greater advantage to other domain providers because of its marketing. That's what Yahoo good at.

I don't know that yahoo is offering a domain names.I checked the link you posted here,i think the plan looks good.$9 for a year,but no hosting plan.Overall,it is good.

Yahoo is offering a domain and i also check before the pricing you will get a big discount if you choose 1 year and also they also offer hosting.. you can check the pricing in yahoo or the links that had posted above.

wait a minute, are you trying to tell me that yahoo is actually selling or rather leasing out some portion of their business just to any type of business enterprise. What if the business that is been done by the person in question is associated or related with the type of business which yahoo does what will yahoo do in such cases because i do not expect such from yahoo at all.

sure when you buy domain name from Yahoo that will coast You more than any company m yahoo is very famous but it is ok you can sell domain name from others
that will not make the deference

Well for me i would say that yahoo dormain is affordable at its price and though most people will always complain that it takes time for a dormain to be completely set for use in yahoo and to me i'll say that even if it takes time to get set,all i base mine is that it will be more reliable than most other companies doing the same thing.

It is good to know that yahoo is offering domain name for a price. Whether the price is right or wrong is not too important for me now. What is important for me now is that I can get a domain from a seller that I can trust.

THe price is pretty much the same and there seems to be nothing more into the service. I found many users complaining aboout their hosting. they have very slow speed ironically. they have their own datacenters but i don't know why the server speed is slow for their system. but if you're just going for the domain name then it's fine.

If they have slow speed in the hosting and then the hosting is not good.. but the domain and hosting is costly as there are some company who is not offering that much because there is also some promo or coupon that you can use in other company which can give you a high discount when you buy a domain.

I don't know why it is about slow hositng. I guess they are only giving service to people who are using their high priced plans. I have seen that with almost every company out there. BUt consdiering the yahoo reputation i thought they are reliable. but it seems other cheap hosts seems to be much better compared to yahoo.

If it's costly and slow seems Yahoo doesn't offer the best for its user! I will never try to purchase a domain and hosting.. and there were really some other company who will offer more better features.

it is really not cheap,and other cheap hosts are much better than them,they shoul do somehing about it,but some are just happy to buy from a trusted place,consdiering the yahoo reputation i also think they are reliable

I bet a lot of people were not aware that yahoo is selling domain as well as it not marketed too much. It makes sense that they would go that route since they are a search engine after all and they deal with websites. If they had structured this package correctly, their search engine and reputation would have given them an advantage. The cost is not that bad either.

yahoo domains are not cheap. same goes with their hosting. it is expensive. you have to pay a lot and also use some odd settings and file manager. one of my friend used their service and now he is regreting. i think that says everything about yahoo domains and hosting service.
