IS Facebook being best friends?

I guess even when you are alone you never really feel alone because you have friends on facebook that you can chat to. This is good because it becomes entertaining for us even at the times that we are longing for companionship or just someone to talk to or share something with.

Yeah facebook do fill the gap that is not filled by our friends that are far from us in different distances but facebook calls them nearer to us and then makes them our companion all the time that we are online and that makes facebook our friend all the time that we are on the social networking site.

When we feel bored then there is Facebook who can help us to kill our boredom, Facebook can be compared as a friend but i don't take it as that because it's just a tool that helping us to connect with our love one's.

well i think so because it is the medium through which we are able to be in contact with lots of friend all around the world

Although I dont think that facebook itself is the best friend I do believe that it does help in making sure that we are uptodate and never feel alone even if we might be physically alone. You always have something interesting to check out on facebook and friends to chat if you need them.

Facebook has become a good company to many. Its fun, its informative and helps us to stay connected to friends. It can really be a good way to pass time when you are bored or have no one around. Its good to stay updated in facebook but getting addicted to it is not good.

It does really help to connect with our friends Facebook is not being a best friend to me but it is really like a friend because it is helping me when i am bored i can do numerous things in Facebook and it can help to wipe out my boredom.

Yes facebook is the best friend because it helps to remain in contact in our families and friends whether they are very far from us . Instead of calling them one by one and increasing our bills it is easy to use facebook and tell them your feelings through messages or through chatting.

There is no substitute for real human to human relation. When I am bored I just take a walk or visit some of my friends and have a drink. Don't get me wrong, I am on facebook and I do chat there every now and then but I would prefer to looj at people's face, not a computer screen.

@Kimikazi,Facebook being a best friend doesn't mean that you will have to leave human and keep facebook as a replacement to human relationship besides faceebook is all about human and its meant for human beings to use;and this thread is trying to let us know that facebook can be our friend when we are troubled,through the chat features,taking into pictures and also anymore features that we have on facebook.

facebook is best friend when there are no friends to hang with, when i am alone at home i used to have chat with friends in facebook and also there are other application and feature that we can use to have some good time. There is new service of FB that is "Mingle" its free to chat with any one, even person not in friend list
