Why do politicians alway lie??

as we all know that all politician always make promisies that they never fulfilled, this always happen at the time of their campaign, just to get in the position they want... Why do they lie about what they will do and what they will do. And at the end they do nothing?

They lie because people fall for their lies. Most people just like to hear things that make them feel good so they vote for whoever makes the best promises. However, in reality politicians can't get anything done without the support of those around them (other senators, the president, etc.) so often times their promises are never fully fulfilled.

It is all about the votes, their career in politics, and also their seat in the Parliament/Congress/House etc. Not surprising if some promises for not fulfilled. Remember, politics is dirty, politics is dark.

I agree with that. The truth sometimes might not be something good, or something that is beneficial to the politician himself/herself, hence have to lie to win votes from the voters. Just a simple tactic only, nothing really surprising.

It is really a symbiosis. Politicians lie because people and voters also want to hear lies, and do not punish the politicians who obtain their positions by promising things that they INTEND NOT to deliver.

But may I invite you to consider another scenario.

Politics is also called "the art of the possible." The art of the possible because so many things are possible, especially in a society that is democratic and has so many economic and social segments. One economic segment will want one thing, another segment another thing. It is a rare politician - in fact it takes a statesman - who can persuade the people to choose that which will give the most benefits to the most number. When it becomes impossible to deliver a promise to one segment due to the fact that another segment opposes it, then that failed promise will become a lie. But is it really a lie when, in this specific case, it's not because the politician did not make an effort, but because the political and social reality militates against the delivery of his promise? Will you call this politician a liar?

And will you stop at labeling him, or will you do something to help him, to make it possible for him to deliver on his promise?

The reasons politicians lie is because the public doesn't want to hear the truth. People want to hear what they want to hear. When two candidates are running and one of the tells the truth and the other says what the public wants to hear, the one who says what the public wants to hear wins the election. Thus, and there are exceptions to this, if you want to win an election, you better start lying, because the guy who's telling you the truth doesn't have a chance.

they not always lie but ya offource yes they lie Because politicians cannot survive in the private sector, where they'll have to actually work and produce, so they go into politics. They crave power, but aren't willing to actually earn it, so they concoct all kinds of bull so the people will give them power.
