Politics and Governance - a viable means to get wealth

Politics or Governance in some African countries has been turned to a conduit that brings money and riches no longer a call for service rendition, in some countries particularly African continent some senators receive salary, commission and allowance which are much greater than the US President's. May God help us in Africa.

African oh Africa!!! Africa my Africa!!! it's so amazing how the rich get richer and the poor get even more poorer. No physical development, our leader talk the talk, render speeches in conferences all round the world with a laudable applause after the speeches. But what do we get back home? unemployment, insecurity, lack of basic amenities, lack of good education, unhealthy health sector, industrial and labour action called strike.

Our leaders needs to wake up to their responsibilities and be responsible with the feeling of the masses in their heart, respond to the cry of that girl and boy hawking on the street, to that unemployed graduate, bring succor to that artisan whose businesses has crumble due to epileptic power supply. God save us.

I am from an African country, precisely Nigeria and I can tell you that joining the goverment is the fastest way to get tremendous wealth. Just last month a senetor confessed that he recieved a bribe of millions of dollars from a marketer of oil the commitee he was the chairman was probing. The most frustrating thing is most of them go scott free.
