Facebook SMS and email notifications help keep you up-to-date with your friends activity even if you are not logged in.

Yeah it's a good innovation by facebook. But it benefits much to those who are into facebooking. I onced used this service back then i used to larvish my time on social networks. I use to get notification that so, so, ****/tom commented on my status or posted on my wall. It's like i said a very good idea for those who likes being on facebook.

i always receive notifications in my email and mobile. in mobile notification, it only sends notifications if I'm not online. i activate this feature of face book for me to know who posted on my wall and send messages on me while I'm not online. it also serve as my face book keeper, i mean the email notifications, i save some of it specially when the message is important for me.

Currently am no longer using it. I deactivated this feature back then when i was hot on facebook. But from the look of things i am considering activating it, since am no longer active in facebook atleast i will have to know the latest when am not around. Maybe that will help but it may distract me from consecrating on things that help me earn big online.

I have both the email and sms notifications activated for facebook. For email I only receive the weekly birthday notifications and for sms I only selected a few friends and family to get updates from. I also set for my favourite news to get breaking news delivered to my mobile.

I get around 10 - 15 notifications a day all in all. I can be irritating to receive such notifications if they are a lot and you only get nonsense status update notices.

Yes, It's irritating to at times get notifications especially when you aint in the mood to chat or socialize. You can deactivate it any time if you think the notifications are not worth your precious time.

Yes, it's irritating especially when you don't know who's the person.. it's kinda annoying reading that notifications but we can easily deactivate that.

I didn't active my mobile notification, I think its not that important especially that there is facebook zero wherein I can connect to facebook anytime I want for free. So, if I have messages, I can just look at it at my mobile. I don't need notification because if the message is really urgent then the person should have texted me, anyways, I check my FB on a daily basis so, as of now, I haven't missed any message. When it comes to email notification, I still get some but I have turned off some already.

I also didn't activate my mobile notifications it's not that important especially when your friends in facebook are not really a friends of yours it's not worthy to read that notifications.

I'm not using Facebook mobile since my mobile can't avail it. I am only using email notifications, I can receive notifications in my email if someone message me on facebook, mentioned me and any other activities on Facebook.

The facebook mobile and Email Notifications freaks me out as much,as i get out of range mesages that filled up my E-mail box and coming to the mobile Notification,it disturbs me so much and runs my battery down so i have to deactivate it.

That is exactly why I activate them only for certain people and people that I know dont post a 100 times on facebook unnecessarily. Facebook is a good way to communicate with friends and family and because I dont login everyday its good to know when my one of my friends who is no longer in the country is online.

I do not use Facebook mobile text notifications. I think there is a charge for that. I had also canceled the email notifications since it always floods my email inbox. I just access my notifications when I am logging in to my Facebook account.

this is really a great feature if you have least friends but if you have so many then i think it would just be a spam for this one i remembered that my first email with facebook just spammed my mail and it took 3000 emails good thing i have deleted them all
