There are many ways for you to earn in twitter as said by a lot of users. THere are advertising companies/sponsors that are interrelated with Twitter. And the only thing that you need to do is just sponsor their links and it's like Adsense. You get credited everytime a visitor visit that particular link.

I think twitter earns thru the number of user who joined on their site. Remember that most of the site earn when too many visitor on their site. More Traffic More Earnings

not only mylikes, but there are other advertising sites that offer such. And so with this, I think one of the sources of Twitter's income is through the advertisers. And I think the profit that they earn is quite big enough to cover all their other expenses.

You did not answer what the thread starter meant here. The question is,how is twitter making money ? As for me,i think they are making their money from the number of activities on their site. There is no ads displayed in there,so we can't say, they are earning from that. The number of people that are using the site are what is earning them money. It's traffics.

Yeah, that article is indeed helpful. It will really be a waste if the owner of Twitter will not take advantage of its popularity. All the while, I thought that the owner is just to make the site popular and then sell it.

I think twitter don't have to make their site popular then sell it. They just need to invest on it and then I'm sure that Twitter will earn a lot rather than selling it. And also if I'm the owner of twitter i will never sell it because I'm sure this site will give me a lot of profits.

The twitter owners are really good thinkers. They know that many people would be turned off when there are too many ads on thier website, so they searched for another way to make money without having tocluuter their site with ads.

Yes I agree, they are really wise and have a good level of thinking. In that way user will not be turned off in their service and for sure they will promote twitter on their friends and relatives. I love twitter because you can't see any ads on their page and you won't notice that they have some good source of income.

This is absolutely correct. Adsense will make a lof of cash to the Twitter. This is already one source of income. Another thing, by being very popular, the website itself will worth miilions of dollar already!!

Yes. I think you might not have encounter advertising ads on your page per se but these advertisers may also have their very own account that people will follow. It is already advertising. I think this is one of the ways that twitter earn and be able to support the site.

What i believe to be true is Twitter are making their money from advertisers.Look at the number of people using the site for that purpose,it is a portal for advertising whatever you have for the world. They too are making their money from that.

i got confused with the title of the thread! are you asking with where do twitter get its income? or are you asking if there is a way to earn money through twitter? i think twitter gets their income through advertisement. and mylikes is the only site i know where you can earn money with twitter.
