Facebook Account Banning

hey. Do you know how can i bann an account of a person in facebook. Will the person is not a friends of mine. Neither a family of mine. Well, the issue that i want to get the person banned is that, He is making facebook groups and fanpages about discrimination of our races. What do yu think can i do to protect ours? i reported to facebook but i think he is not bann yet

you aren't able to ban people on facebook ==a just staff who able to do that..when you are report to facebook you needed to wait (if staff not forgot to look your case) because not just you who report to facebook..beside that try to keep report with the proof of violation so facebook can take the action fast :)

yeah. ut takiya i reported it long ago but now its useless. My report is useless. I think they didnt see my case. Maybe they neglected it because im not so famous as staffs want to be. If a celebrity reported something bad, then sure a staff would take care of it as fast as they could

The only thing we can do is to report the guy to the Facebook Admin.. Or, if we want to do something more serious, try to find the real person behind the account. (but it can be done if the data used is real). Then copy all the files, and show all the files to the media and local Police!!

I dont know why other people would do that to other races,even spend time making those fan pages just to ridicule people but the only way is to report them. if you did it the first time and the staff overlooked the point,just do it again but this time,with more explanation as to why you wanted the person banned. if they still won't do it then just block the person to your list. let Karma worked it out for him.

you need to show the proof my friend..you should give exact information also link address of violation..when you are report someone facebook account you must choose some of violation type right?? and after that you should give link address of the vilation..this is important part..you should explain really really detail about your problem and give the right link address of violation..example good at your wall 30 june 2011 7.16 AM by ZxZ Person...
just try once again maybe they will look to your case :) as far i know if you not provide a detail information your report just will be marked as spam and your case will not cleared..

Hey I know there's a percent needed in order to ban a page. One person is not enough my friend, the page you are reporting needs to reach 100%. If the page reached 100% because of many people reporting them, then the page will be banned. In your case, if you're only the one who reported it, maybe it is only 1% , so try to talk to your friends to help you report it. Many reports, a big chance of banning the page.

Each violation is usually viewed by product and account managers. So make sure that there are some pointers which are leading to clue why the ban happened. In case of pages, they take a look at ads and other things before they close it. Same is the case with profile if it is suspicious then surely it'll have some issues and lead to ban.

yes you have to report him but if that doesn't work you have to make other people as you can report him as well

I think asking others to report him or her is overdoing it. Why there is need to do that if facebook moderators or the managers take care of this issue. We need to give as much information as we can in this case in order to make things work in banning. I think there are policies for that too.

Banning account on facebook there is lot of process to undergo, you should prove that this account is violating such rules and regulations on facebook then report it to the administrator and staff.For you to clear your mind for this person you delete this person on your friends list ,do not add.It is very sad to hear that their are persons like to do such thing,posting ideas or words which is not good or hurting to others...So let him/her do whatever they want until they finished and satisfied whatever purpose they are aiming.Someday they will find guilty..

That is true there are a lot of process that the facebook staffs undergo in order for them to decide if they will ban the account or until they have proven enough. There are a lot of reasons for getting banned as I have said on other threads but the most common is spamming which can be reported by other people.

@herjohn You can block the person easily from your friends list as well as you will never see any comments of his/her on facebook ever as well as he/she even can't connect to your wall also.I think this would solve your problem and I advise you to get satisfied with this only.I think the facebook team ignored your report because they did not find anything violating facebook terms there.So I will advise you to forget it after that or I fear your account will be banned instead of his/her.

Well, you have to report that account and ask your friends and relatives to report it also because i believe facebook staff will do some action immediately when their are multiple people who are reporting that account.

The more the people who report a certain profile for sure the faster facebook is going to be taking action on that account. Because facebook does not act fast if you are the only one who report facebook will think that you are having some anger with that person that is why you report.

You cannot essentially get rid of their account like that, Yes you can report the group and fanpage and it will get removed if enough people report it, but the person will not get their account banned unless by order of Facebook. I don't like people who are racist like that, I don't mind people making jokes but sometimes people can take it way too far off the line. We should just respect people by who they are and not hate on them just by the color of their skin or what nationality they are.

i just only know that you can block them and you can report it if its a page. there is also an option or you can choose for a reason why did you report that page. i encounter a lots of page discriminating our race. so Facebook actually resolve it and they do ban the page.

I agree those racial discriminations really deserve to be deleted on facebook database completely. Once I see this type of bullies I just report them immediately and state the reason so that facebook will give action.

Nobody can judge anybody,those racial discrimination issue in facebook should be reported so that she/he will be given such sanctions intended for this person..maybe by banning on facebook so it should be reported immediately to admin.Anybody who knows about this or somebody know the process on reporting this maybe can help.

sometimes there are a few accounts banned without any prior explanation and I think it kinda annoyed. but because it does not really matter so they do not complicate the matter further. There may be some people who feel aggrieved by looking at our status so that they report it as spam

I dont think that its seriously possible to ban someone on FB. I have seen many such instances and I feel to slap those people who use FB as a medium to write all these sorts of bull shit. But still these pages do exist on FB. So I believe there is no such way, just consideer them and psycho and do not care about their activities.

I think, it is better for you to write a letter or an e-mail to the administration of Facebook if you feel that this group is discriminating against your race. In the first place, fanpages that discriminate should not have been posted at all.

Yah, you can block them but still they can continue posting to their page because you only blocked them. Just try to report it again and ask your friends to help you reporting that page so that the admin will rush.
