The Miami Heat snapped a five-game losing streak to defeat the Los Angeles Lakers 94-88 and book their place in the NBA play-offs.
Chris Bosh scored 24 points and Dwyane Wade weighed in with 20 as the Heat saw off the two-time defending champions.
Kobe Bryant scored 24 points for the Lakers, whose eight-game winning streak was snapped. Pau Gasol poured in 20.
Amar'e Stoudemire's impressive 36-point haul was in vain as the New York Knicks lost 127-109 to the Dallas Mavericks, for whom Dirk Nowitzki (23), Shawn Marion (22) and Jason Terry (21) did most of the damage.
The Denver Nuggets defeated the Phoenix Stars 116-97 at US Airways Center, with Nene (22) and Ty Lawson leading the way for the winners.

I hope the Miami Heat will win it all this season. I like how Lebron and Wade play. However, between the two players, I would want Wade to take the last shot that Lebron.
